Air Navigation Pro Monthly Inbox - May

We, here at Air Navigation Pro, want what is best for you and we aim for our app to be user-friendly for easy navigation. We recently made changes on Air Navigation Pro and since we have different versions of the app available on different devices, and our iOS app is now free to download with a 2 week free trial. Our support team has compiled a list of the top frequently asked questions last month.

1. I purchased the previous version of the app, do I need to pay again after the 2 week free trial?
Since you're a legacy user, once you update the app, you won't be asked to subscribe since you already paid for it. After the Start Now page, just tap on "Restore Purchase" then sign in to your iTunes ID to update the subscription. Please make sure to log in using the same account ID that you used to previously subscribe.

2. Maps are missing on my device, what should I do?
For Android tablet, and both iOS and Android smartphones, please check if you're connected with your device to the Xample Account. Go to Configuration >> Tools >> Air Navigation Services >> Account Information. Please go to Configuration >> Products - Get New Charts >> Restore.

For iOS tablet, please check if you're connected with your device to the Xample account, go to Tools>> Air Navigation Services >> Account Information, then go to Settings >> Products - Get New Charts >> Restore.

Download the Maps by tapping on the map of your choice. Please make sure to log in using the correct user ID.

3. App is not working when my Android tablet is offline, what's the problem?
Some devices would crash if traffic is turned on for ADS-B with no internet connection. We have a temporary workaround for that, just turn off ADS-B in Traffic Awareness.

You will find it under Map Options >> Traffic Awareness >> Show Traffic on Map, then turn it off

4. I am already subscribed to Aeronautical Database but it seems that the database is outdated, what's the solution to this?
Make sure that you log in your account, for smartphones, you may check it under Configuration >> Tools >> Air Navigation Services >> Account Information.
